 We are pleased to announce the upcoming International Conference on 2025 China International DRI Seminarwhich will be held from 09th May to 11th May at XuanSteel Hotell, Xuanhua CityHebei, China. The conference aims to discuss the latest research findings and advancements in the field of non blast furnace smelting technology.
 Conference Background
To better promote and advance the development achievements and latest technologies of non blast furnace smelting technology, and to support and encourage metallurgy
Technological Innovation and Development, Metallurgical Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Direct Reduction Network, and Non Blast Furnace Smelting Technology Industry Alliance jointly hosts the "National Metallurgical Reduction Innovation Forum and 2025 Non Blast Furnace Conference".
 The Non blast furnace smelting Forum is an industry brand forum created by the Direct Restoration Network, which has been held for more than ten sessions. The successful convening of previous forums,All have received strong support from relevant regulatory authorities and recognition from industry colleagues, enterprises, and institutions. 
Under the guidance of the "Dual Carbon" policy and the Belt and Road Initiative, China's steel smelting technology has become extremely popular globally and has emerged as the primary source of choice for international steel metallurgy technology.
Xuanhua is located in the Capital Economic Circle, with convenient transportation. It is close to the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway and Zhangjiakou Airport.
The first-phase hydrogen metallurgy shaft furnace project oHBIS Xuansteel with an annual output of 550,000 tons, has been completed and put into production, and has entered a full-load production state since this year. It is the world's first demonstration project of hydrogen metallurgy with direct reduction in a shaft furnace using hydrogen-rich gas (coke oven gas) without reforming. The first-phase project can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 800,000 tons per year, with a reduction ratio of over 70%. In the second-phase project, the advantages of wind energy, solar energy and other resources in Zhangjiakou area will be fully utilized to explore and gradually transition to 100% green hydrogen direct reduction production. With the supporting CCUS process, a green hydrogen metallurgy project with a scale of 600,000 tons will be developed, ultimately achieving "zero-carbon" emissions and realizing zero-carbon green manufacturing throughout the entire process.
This event will be "Steel Green Transformation,Future Hydrogen - empowered Technology" as the theme, will invite well-known academicians, international experts, scientific research institutes, university professors and relevant enterprise leaders carry out technical exchange discussions, achievements promotion and cooperation talks around the theme.
