Background：

Currently,Chinese environmental pressure is very huge, Iron and Steel enterprises，as large energy consumption and pollution，is the focus of attention of the environmental protection departments, This also to have the advantage in energy saving and emission reduction non blast furnace ironmaking technology bring development opportunities. In the newly introduced 2015-2025 ten year plan, the non blast furnace iron making technology is still the technology of the state to encourage the development of the technology.

The techniques of Gas-Based Reduction, MIDREX and HYL have done a lot to the reduction procedure of coal-making gas. It has reached a good result while considering the China’s market features and the increasing oil price background. The metallurgy industry in China is paying much attention to it.

Direct Reduced Iron is not only the urgent needing material to produce pure steel in China’s electric furnace industry , but also the urgent needing to produce high-level pure cast steel and casting blank in the equipment manufacturing industry . Under this background, a non-blast furnace technique becomes the top choice of many corporations.

The 2015 Direct Reduction Iron Seminar is hosted by the China Association of Metalscrap Utilization DRI Working Working Committee, This is the second general meeting of the organization established,and also the fifth general assembly of the DR industry.It is estimated that more than 200 people would attend this Seminar.
